David Orr

In 1931 David’s grandfather and namesake started the Orr family stockbroking business at Laing & Cruikshank. David’s father, Ronald, took over at Hitchens Harrison and David joined him at Gerrard Vivian Gray in 1994 before they both moved to Brewin Dolphin in 2001. After 12 years at Brewin Dolphin and close to 6 years at Charles Stanley David joined Raymond James as a Branch Principal in March 2019. David was the most consistent top performer for private clients, charities and trusts over the five, three and one year periods to 31^st December 2018 relative to his Charles Stanley peers. His assistant and cousin, Charles Orr, moved with him to Raymond James.

David has been married for over 11 years and has two children. Time allowing, David enjoys playing tennis, football, ski-ing, chess and cycling.
